On October 22, 2020, Lv Chen, Assistant Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, gave a webinar for the College of Communications Engineering (CCE) via a video link. The webinar was presided over by Professor Guo Hongyan and was attended by CCE teachers and students.

Dr. Lv delivered an academic report entitled "Automated Driving and Human-Machine Systems". First, he introduced the relevant research results of automatic driving system, including the identification of driving-related data of drivers, as well as the acquisition of driving behavior, driving style and influence mechanism through machine learning. At the lecture, Dr. Lv Chen elaborated on the cutting-edge man-machine collaboration system by taking high-speed and urban traffic scenarios as examples, and pointed out that full automatic driving system was an important development direction of future automatic driving. He concluded his report by briefing the audience on the relevant research teams of Nanyang Technological University. In the Q&A session, he patiently answered the questions by the teachers and students and had in-depth exchanges with them. The report attracted active participation from the audience and was well received.

This webinar has helped our teachers and students gain a better knowledge and understanding of automatic driving and man-machine collaboration system. After the meeting, they expressed their hope for more academic webinars.
