The College of Communications Engineering (CCE) successfully held a Forum of Administrative Officials in Nanhu Campus on September 5, so as to build a broader experience-sharing platform for administrative officials of CCE, further improve their sense of service, work quality, efficiency and work standard, and effectively promote the overall quality of leadership building of CCE. The event was attended by the CCE leadership and all the administrative officials, and chaired by Mr. Cheng Yue, Party Secretary of CCE.

CCE started to plan the event in May this year, and required its officials to prepare  speeches for the Forum office by office. After long consideration and deliberation, with collective wisdom and based on each office’s own features and characteristics, representatives from each office delivered excellent speeches covering topics such as fostering a good office culture, strengthening capability-building for administrative officials, innovating teaching management, improving research ethics, fostering a good learning environment, and improving professionalism and working methods. Their innovative ideas, pragmatic mindset, rich experience and wise counsel won rounds of applause from the audience.

Deeply touched by the heated atmosphere in the Forum, CCE leadership also made sincere comments based on their own experience, and put forward higher requirements for the attendees. They asked the officials to learn how to be a righteous person above everything else, deeply understand the nature of administrative work, strictly follow the rules and conducts of administrative work, firmly grasp the greater picture and trend of administrative work, further refine and implement their tasks, actively innovate on the concept and ways of working, and continuously enhance personal capability, so as to improve the quality and efficiency of administrative work comprehensively.

After leaders’ comments, the attendees conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on management ,methods, innovative measures, coordination and cooperation, etc. CCE aims to find a way to formulate a regular, institutionalized, and effective training plan for administrative officials, and the successful hosting of the Forum was a solid step towards that.
